Move-in Details (Incoming Students)
Information for incoming first year and transfer students moving in on August 30, 2023
Move-in for first-year, transfer, and visiting students will take place on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

To ensure a smooth check-in process, we ask that all students indicate a specific check-in time using the Fall 2023 Check-in Time Slots form, accessible within the Forms process on the housing portal. Each student's check-in area is based on their residence hall location. Please note that all students must review and sign the 2023 - 2024 Housing Agreement in the housing portal before selecting a move-in time slot or requesting early arrival housing.
Students approved to arrive early for a University-sponsored activity, such as a pre-orientation program or a fall varsity athletic team, do not need to sign up for a move-in time slot. Students approved to arrive early will receive directions from our office in their approval notice.
The table below lists the check-in location and the name of the corresponding time slot process for each new student residence hall.

Late Check-in (5:30pm - 6am)
A limited number of time slots will be available for students arriving from 5:30pm - 6am via the Fall 2023 Check-in Time Slots form. Students who arrive during this time will check in at the Residential Life Key Office located on the 3rd floor of Grad Center E (42 Charlesfield Street).
Move-in Details (Returning Students)
Information for returning students moving in on September 2, 2023
Move in for Fall 2023 for returning students takes place on Saturday, September 2, 2023. To ensure a smooth check-in process, we ask that all students indicate a specific check-in time using the Fall 2023 Check-in Time Slots form, which will soon be accessible within the Forms process on the housing portal. Returning students will receive an email when this process is available to them, and this page will be updated at that time to reflect each building's check in location.
