Move-in Dates
Move-in for first-year, transfer, and visiting students will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
Move-in for Fall 2025 for returning students will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2024.

What to Bring / What Not to Bring
While there are many things you can do to personalize your room, several items are specifically restricted from residence halls due to Rhode Island fire laws or Brown policy. This list includes air conditioners, space heaters, candles, extension cords, halogen lamps, pets and weapons.
