What to Bring / What Not to Bring
While there are many things you can do to personalize your room, several items are specifically restricted from residence halls due to Rhode Island fire laws or Brown policy. This list includes air conditioners, space heaters, candles, extension cords, halogen lamps, pets and weapons.

Opening & Closing of the Residence Halls
Residence halls will close for non-graduating students at 12 noon on Saturday, May 20 after the conclusion of the final exams period.
Residence halls will close for graduating students at 12 noon on Monday, May 29 after Commencement.
