Our Mission

The Office of Residential Life creates a meaningful, holistic residential experience where students can share a sense of belonging to the Brown community, practice and expand what they are learning in their course of study, be supported in the development of healthy practices, and cultivate connections with their fellow students. The Office of Residential Life advances inclusive communities that promote student growth, wellness, and development to support a holistic residential student experience.

Launched in Fall 2024, the Sis designed to support students navigating their second year of collegeā€”a year full of decision-making and personal growth! Events fall under 4 categories:

  1. Social Connections: Build friendships and community.
  2. Academic Adventures and Career Quest: Attend valuable events that help you prepare to declare and investigate careers.
  3. Well-being and Relationships: Develop your personal, emotional, and relationship well-being.
  4. Cultural Experiences: Diversify your learning and enrich your life!
