Dear Students,

We hope your fall semester is going well. We are writing as a follow-up to our earlier message to remind you about the Winter Break Housing form, which is available in the housing portal via the Forms process. The form has a priority deadline of Thursday, December 7, 2023. Late requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you have already submitted a Winter Break Housing form, you can return to the portal to make edits or email us at res_life@brown.edu if you no longer need to remain on campus to cancel your form. All housing requests will be verified with the sponsoring department or staff. Decision notices will be sent by our office, on a rolling basis, beginning Friday, December 8.

If you need to remain in your residence hall room beyond 12pm ET on Friday, December 22, arrive prior to 8am on Saturday, January 20, or remain in on-campus housing for the entirety of winter break, you must submit the Winter Break Housing form. The form contains details about eligibility, housing costs, meals, and financial assistance.

You do not need to complete the Winter Break Housing form if you do not plan to live on-campus between December 22 and January 20.
