Dear Students,

We hope your fall semester is going well. We are writing as a follow-up to our message, “[Important] Fall Closing, Winter Break, and Spring Opening” to let you know that the Winter Break Housing form is now available in the housing portal via the Forms process. The form has a priority deadline of Thursday, December 7, 2023. Late requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our records indicate that you will not live on campus for the Spring 2024 semester due to a leave of absence, mid-year graduation, study abroad/exchange, or because you qualify for and have received non-resident status. If you will live on campus for the Spring 2024 semester, please contact us by responding to this email.

As a reminder, the residence halls will close at 12pm ET on Friday, December 22, following the conclusion, on Thursday, of the final exam period. You will receive more detailed information about fall closing after Thanksgiving Break.

If you need to remain in your residence hall room beyond 12pm ET on Friday, December 22 you must submit the Winter Break Housing form to request a brief extension. The form contains details on eligibility, housing costs, meals, and financial assistance.

You do not need to complete the Winter Break Housing form if you do not plan to live on-campus beyond December 22 at 12pm ET.
