We write to you as a follow up to our March 24 email regarding spring closing details. As a reminder, the residence halls close at 12:00pm ET on Saturday, May 20 for non-graduating students and at 12:00pm ET on Monday, May 29 for graduating students, including those graduating in December 2023.

All on-campus students must provide their departure date via the Spring 2023 Departure form no later than Monday, May 8 at 11:59pm ET.

If you enter a departure date on or before the standard closing date (either May 20 or May 29, depending on your graduation status), our office will send you a link to the Checkout Appointment Form in late April. For more details on spring closing, please visit our Spring Closing website.

Extended Housing

If you enter a departure date beyond the standard closing date you will be directed to the Extended Housing Request Form to provide more information about your request. The approval of extended housing requests is not guaranteed. 

If a department is sponsoring your extended housing you must provide your sponsor's contact information in the Extended Housing Request Form.

Summer Housing

The Summer 2023 Housing Form is also now available to non-graduating students via the Forms process in the housing portal.

Summer housing is available from Sunday, June 18, 2023 to Saturday, August 5, 2023, at a rate of $45 per night. Current on-campus residents may request extended housing between the Spring semester and the beginning of the summer housing period via the Spring 2023 Departure Form. The bridge and extended housing fee is also $45 per night.
