Community Messages
Dear Students,
We hope you have had a positive start to the Spring 2024 semester.
We are writing to remind you about the 2024-25 Academic Year Housing Application. Students required to live on campus who do not have a completed application on file prior to February 23, 2024, will not be able to form a group nor select their own room; instead they will be assigned a room on campus after the Housing Selection Process concludes, over the summer.
The required portion of the General Housing application contains terms and conditions and a lifestyle questionnaire. Students interested may also continue the application and complete several optional applications for different communities (Greek, Program, Theme, BRDD Community, Special Interest). You will receive a confirmation email after completing the General Application portion of the application and again when you submit any additional applications.
Students wishing to apply for a Religious Housing Request must do so by the deadline on February 23, 2024 by 11:59 PM via the supplemental application in the housing portal. Students applying for a disability-related accommodations must apply by the priority deadline of February 23, 2024 by 11:59 PM in order to receive a placement prior to General Housing Selection. Students who apply for disability-related accommodations must submit by the priority deadline to receive a housing offer prior to General Housing Selection. Students who do not meet that priority deadline will receive accommodation offers following General Housing Selection based on the availability of space.
If you plan to study abroad for the Fall 2024 semester, you still need to complete the housing application. There is a page on the application that will capture your study abroad plans and provide information about spring housing options for students returning from studying abroad.
Thank you for your attention to this important information regarding living on campus next year.
If you have any questions, please reply to this email or attend our office hours.

-
All juniors should submit their Housing Application for on-campus housing (prior to the Feb. 23rd deadline) even if they intend to submit this Off-Campus Interest form.
-
The Office of Residential Life strongly discourages students or their families from signing any lease without confirmation from our office that the exemption has been granted. The signing of a lease for off-campus housing is not justification for receiving off-campus approval, and the signing of a lease - and any resulting financial difficulties - will not result in non-resident status.
-
-
Those released from this residency requirement will be selected through a randomized lottery process.
March 1 - 11 – Junior Off-Campus Permission/Release
-
Staff will contact those selected through the random lottery to go off campus on a rolling basis.

-

All students who applied for on-campus housing and who were not placed through any other process will select their room(s) for 2024-2025.
