Symone Andrews
Area Coordinator for Greek, Program and Theme CommunitiesPronouns she/her/hersLocation Machado 201Symone joined the Brown University community as an Area Coordinator for Greek, Program, and Theme Communities in July 2024. She is a proud first-generation college student from Providence, Rhode Island. Symone received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Forensic Science from Syracuse University and a Master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs from Boston College. Before attending graduate school, she served as a College Advisor with College Advising Corps, where she helped improve postsecondary access and educational equity for students at high schools across Rhode Island. At Boston College, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Residential Life and later the Office of Urban Outreach and Initiatives. As a student affairs professional, Symone is passionate about cultivating a student experience that is intentional, inclusive, and encourages holistic development. Outside work, she enjoys reading, trying viral TikTok recipes and coffee shops, and spending time with her nieces.

Kim Busse
Pronouns she/her/hersLocation Emery 005Kim joined Brown University's Residential Life team as an Area Coordinator in February 2026. She was born and raised in New York, but has lived in New England for most of her life following high school. Kim has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Roger Williams University and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from University at Albany. Prior to working at Brown, Kim served as a Community Director for WPI's Housing department. Here, she developed a strong passion for student wellness and wellbeing, and she is excited to bring this passion to her work at Brown University. Kim puts a strong focus on mental health and students' sense of belonging into her roles to ensure that students can truly shine, best succeed, and feel that they can call campus a home. In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading, creating various crafts, completing puzzles, and adventuring around Rhode Island!

Chloe Evans
Area Coordinator for Greek, Program and Theme CommunitiesPronouns she/her/hersLocation Perkins 022Chloe joined the Residential Life team at Brown University in November 2024. Throughout her life, Chloe has lived in eight other states and Canada, and is excited to add Rhode Island to this list. Chloe graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's in Political Science, and she recently earned her Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania.During her time at Mississippi, Chloe served as a resident assistant in the Department of Student Housing, where she was responsible for creating a welcoming community, planning engaging events, and providing support to her fellow students. This role allowed her to develop strong leadership skills and deepen her commitment to fostering inclusive environments. At Penn, Chloe worked as the Graduate Assistant of Special Projects in College Houses and Academic Services, where she managed initiatives aimed at enhancing the student experience within residence halls. Her passion for student advocacy and residential life drives her to expand her horizons at Brown University.
In her free time, Chloe enjoys curling up with a new book or show, socializing with friends, and she is excited to explore everything that Providence has to offer. -
Naby Exceus
Area Coordinator for Greek, Program and Theme CommunitiesPronouns he/him/hisLocation Minden 109Naby joined the Brown University community as an Area Coordinator for Greek, Program, and Theme Communities in July 2024. He is a first-generation Haitian American college student from Broward County, Florida. Naby received his Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Before joining Brown, Naby honed his skills in programming, leadership development, and risk management while working as a graduate assistant in FIU's Office of Campus Life. Notably, he served as the graduate advisor to FIU's Black Student Union, demonstrating his commitment to fostering inclusive spaces. Driven by his commitment to equity and inclusion Naby aims to cultivate vibrant live-in and learning communities that promote success and belonging. In his spare time, Naby enjoys binging shows/movies on Netflix, exploring new hobbies, hanging out with friends and watching anime.

Paige Goodwine
Area Coordinator for First Year ExperiencePronouns she/her/hersLocation Emery Hall 005Paige Goodwine, an alumna of Indiana University Bloomington, holds dual master's degrees in Healthcare Management (MSHM) and a master's in Public Health (MPH). Paige is committed to student wellbeing and uses her education background in student health and wellness to help shape the residential experience. Armed with a B.A. in Psychology, Paige brings a unique blend of academic insight and a passion for building supportive communities within residence halls. Guided by empathy and integrity, Paige's approach to university residential life seeks to create transformative environments where students not only find shelter but thrive academically and personally. Her strengths lie in crafting inclusive spaces that balance structure with warmth, fostering a sense of belonging.
Despite her introverted nature, Paige's love for people shines through in her commitment to meaningful connections within the residential community. Paige believes that a student's living space plays a pivotal role in their overall collegiate experience. She envisions residential life as more than just accommodation—it's a vibrant community where students can grow and connect. Paige invites connections from students, fellow staff members, and individuals passionate about shaping vibrant and inclusive campus living.

Ivonne Millan
Pronouns she/her/hersLocation Vartan Gregorian Quad A 104Ivonne joined Brown University's Residential Life team as an Area Coordinator in February 2026. She was born and raised in Colombia, and has lived most of her life in New Jersey. She is a proud first-generation college graduate, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Syracuse University and a Master's degree in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to joining the Residential Life team at Brown University, Ivonne worked in Residential Life, Student Engagement, Orientation, and Family Engagement across different institutions, including Colgate University, Harvard College, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (MCPHS), and Syracuse University. Throughout her time in Student Affairs, Ivonne has been deeply committed to supporting students through their college experience and ensuring they feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. In her free time, Ivonne enjoys all things art-related, including drawing, painting, and ceramics. She is also passionate about filmmaking, cinema, and Broadway, and can often be found attending movie marathons, binge-watching new shows, or working on short creative film projects with friends.

Teniesea Russell
Area Coordinator for First Year ExperiencePronouns she/her/hersLocation Everett Poland E321 (Arnold Lounge)Teniesea joined the Residential Life team at Brown University in July 2024. She was born in the Cayman Islands and moved to New York City where she resided for 19 years. Teniesea received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from New York University and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Prior to her time at Boston College, she had the opportunity to be a College Counselor for 9-12th grade students where she assisted in providing these individuals with resources towards receiving a post-secondary education. She enjoyed catering her strengths to each student and advocated for those who felt as though they did not have a voice. During her time at Boston College, she worked in the Office of Residential Life in both Housing Operations and Residential Education. Through this work and previous others, she found passion in Education while incorporating her love for Mental Health, Wellness, and Social Justice and Advocacy. During her time at Brown University, Teniesea is excited to continue expanding her dedication as an educator and to college student development through a holistic approach. She loves to exercise, read, watch horror movies, unwind with her cat, socialize with friends, and crack a joke or two every now and again.

Léhi Valladares
Area Coordinator for First Year Experience, Archibald-Bronson Hall, Everett-Poland Hall, Jameson Mead HallPronouns he/himLocation Perkins 022Léhi was born and raised in Honduras and moved to the United States in 2003 for the purpose, as has been the case for many immigrant families, of pursuing an education. He received his Bachelor's in Democracy and Justice Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and his Master's in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. Prior to joining Brown, Léhi worked as an Area Coordinator at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Through his experiences in higher education, both as a student and as a student affairs professional, Léhi has developed a passion for experiential learning and social psychology. In his spare time, Léhi enjoys reading, writing, and crossing off streaming shows from his interminable "Friend Recommendations" list.
