Susi Abboud
Biography
Susi joined the Office of Residential Life in April 2024 as the Assistant Director of New Student Programs and Community Initiatives and now serves as the Assistant Director of Student Experience in the department of Strategic Assessment and Student Experience. Susi continues to provide leadership to the Brunonians Living Off Campus program housed in Residential Life.
Prior to coming to Brown, Susi served as the Student Activities Specialist at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida where she planned and facilitated multi-campus events encompassing themes of campus connections, community building, and diverse identity education & celebration. She also served as the Graduate Assistant to the Disability Resource Center at the University of Florida where she oversaw student groups and disability advocacy programs.
Susi's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in psychology and a Master’s of Education degree from the University of Florida in Student Personnel in Higher Education. A few fun facts about Susi include: she is proficient in American Sign Language; she has two orange cats; and she is Lebanese!
