The Curricular Resource Center

The Curricular Resource Center (CRC) has many amazing resources for sophomores, like the Matched Advising Program for Sophomores (MAPS) mentoring program, AcCESs (Academic Coaching, Engagement & Support), Independent Study and Independent Concentration support, and so much more!

The CRC is currently accepting applications for rising sophomores who would like to have a mentor, and rising juniors (and seniors) who would like to be mentors! The applications close on September 15th, 2025 at 5:00pm. Read all about it:

Apply to MAPS 2025-2026

The CRC’s Matched Advising Program for Sophomores (MAPS) is a peer mentoring program that pairs sophomores with upperclassmen that share academic and other interests. Mentors offer support, helping sophomores navigate their academic, professional, and social experiences at or beyond Brown. MAPS also works with various university programs to organize info sessions, open hours, and community-building events for sophomores throughout the year.

We welcome applications from sophomores seeking mentors and invite juniors and seniors to apply to become mentors.
