Apply for FALL 23 Housing
Dear Students,
We hope you are preparing for a restful Spring Break! We in Residential Life are busy with preparations for Room Selection for Fall 2023!
This email contains important information about living on campus next year and action steps required. Please read carefully.
Please pay close attention to the dates and required actions as failure to take action may result in ineligibility for participation in housing processes:
March 22 - April 4 – General Selection Application Launch & Roommate Group Formation
- Rising juniors and sophomores (who did not previously apply or accept placement through the GPT & SI process) will submit their application for on-campus housing for 2023-2024.
- All students living on campus for Academic Year 2023-2024 must have a Completed Housing Application submitted prior to April 4 in order to select housing through the General Selection process.
- Students required to live on campus who do not have an application on file prior to April 4 will be assigned a room on campus after the Housing Selection Process concludes, over the summer.
- Students going through General Selection may form roommate group pairings.
- During room selection - students will ONLY see rooms in which their group will fit (a four person group will only see four person suites or quads - they will not see two separate doubles in the same building)
- Students should be prepared to change their groupings based on room availability at their assigned timeslot - having a back-up plan will lead to less stress and panic during room selection timeslots.
April 7 - Timeslots
- All students with completed applications (that do not already have an assignment for Fall 2023) will be given a timeslot for selection.
April 11-12 – General Selection Days
- Rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores who applied for on-campus housing will select their room(s) for 2023-2024.
- All students who completed applications prior to April 4th that were not assigned a room through a previous process will select their on-campus assignment for the following academic year.
April - August - Late Assignment & Housing Agreement
- Once General Selection has concluded, any student that did not have a completed application on file by April 4th, or did not select their own room or accept a placement into a community can complete an application and will be assigned by the Office of Residential Life.
- Prior to moving onto campus in the Fall, all students will be required to digitally sign the Housing Agreement.
