Symone Andrews
Biography
Symone joined the Brown University community as an Area Coordinator for Greek, Program, and Theme Communities in July 2024. She is a proud first-generation college student from Providence, Rhode Island. Symone received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Forensic Science from Syracuse University and a Master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs from Boston College. Before attending graduate school, she served as a College Advisor with College Advising Corps, where she helped improve postsecondary access and educational equity for students at high schools across Rhode Island. At Boston College, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Residential Life and later the Office of Urban Outreach and Initiatives. As a student affairs professional, Symone is passionate about cultivating a student experience that is intentional, inclusive, and encourages holistic development. Outside work, she enjoys reading, trying viral TikTok recipes and coffee shops, and spending time with her nieces.
