Shalyn is joining our team as our ACUHO-I Graduate Coordinator Intern. Originally from a small town in Illinois, Shalyn is pursuing her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in College Student Affairs at the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!). At USF, Shalyn serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Shalyn earned her bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Western Illinois University, with minors in Educational Studies and Event Planning and Management. At WIU, she was heavily involved in her sorority and Dance Marathon.

During her time at Brown, Shalyn is excited to gain experience in all aspects of residential life, learn from the team in the office, and continue growing as a student affairs professional.
