The residence halls at Brown are not air conditioned during the academic year. Individual air conditioners (window or floor units) are not allowed in the residence halls as they can overload electrical circuits, pose a safety hazard for individuals outside the building, and damage window frames and sills. You are certainly welcome to bring a fan.
