Transfer students should complete the Incoming Student Housing Questionnaire online following acceptance of admission. The questionnaire requests information on a student's sleeping and study habits, as well as other aspects of the roommate experience. Specific building and room size preferences are not requested, however students are invited to express interest substance-free, quiet, single-sex and suite or apartment style living. There is a higher room rate for students assigned to most suites and apartments on campus. Transfer students will be assigned to available vacant rooms through the campus during the month of July and will be notified of their assignment and room/suitemate information by early August. All efforts will be made to assign transfers near other transfers and/or with students of the same semester level (class standing). Historically junior transfers have received single rooms and sophomore transfers have been assigned to standard (non-suite) doubles, triples, or quads.
