After careful consideration of graduate students' feedback regarding our on-
campus graduate housing option, the University will no longer offer on-campus
housing for graduate and medical school students. Instead, graduate students
have the option of residing off-campus or pursuing Brown-owned, off-campus
properties through the Office of Auxiliary Housing.
Auxiliary Housing will now be offering nine-month, twelve-month, and summer
leases for either one-bedroom efficiency apartments, or single rooms within a
shared two-bedroom apartment. Currently, the cost is set at $825/month and
includes basic cable and internet. Properties are Brown-owned and close
to campus, and will no longer be managed by the Office Residential Life.
Apartments will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis as of March 20,
2012. If Auxiliary Housing is not compatible with your needs, their website also
